Support for Local Community Groups
Social Inclusion & Community Activation Programme (SICAP)
Donegal Local Development Company Ltd (DLDC) is seeking to work in partnership with local community groups and organisations in Donegal to identify and address a wide range of social exclusion and inequality issues that exist in society, under the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP).
This year, we will continue to work with communities to implement programmes, initiatives, activities and events across Donegal that engage with and support communities that have been identified in Ireland as being at high risk of experiencing exclusion, poverty and inequality within society including:
| Children and families in Disadvantaged Areas | People living in Disadvantaged Communities |
| Young people aged 15-24 years who are not in employment, education or training | Young unemployed people living in disadvantaged areas |
| New Communities – including refugees/asylum seekers | The Unemployed – including those not on the Live Register |
| People with Disabilities | Lone Parents |
| Roma | Travellers |
| Low Income Workers/Households |
