Farmers will have at least two weeks extra to submit their vital Basic Payment Scheme applications and apply for the new GLAS scheme.
Following on from permission given by the EU Commission to allow countries to extend the BPS applications up until Monday 15 June, the Department of Agriculture has confirmed there will be an extension to the deadlines for both the BPS and GLAS.
