Farmers are being urged to submit their Single Farm Payment Scheme forms to the Department of Agriculture before the May 15th deadline. Farmers are being encouraged to contact their adviser immediately if they need assistance to complete their single farm payment application form.
Farmers with leased land are encouraged to consult their advisor ASAP, as applications involving leased land are taking longer to complete as these farmers face the greatest changes under the new CAP rules.
Advisers and consultants are struggling to get through SFP applications as farmers want to look at implications not just for 2014 but further down the line under the new CAP reform.
