ICSA members including John Barron (MED Committee member) visited the EU Parliament in June 2013 as guests of MEP Jim Higgins. As the Irish Presidency of the EU neared conclusion they promoted the quality of Irish Food and presented the case of disadvantaged farmers on the western seaboard farming marginal land for consideration under the CAP reform proposals.
