An information evening for Donegal carers looking after older people and those with dementia will be held later this month.
Donegal Mental Health Services for Older People is hosting the event entitled ‘Promoting Positive Mental Health and Living Well with Dementia’.
Guest speakers on the night will include GP Dr Sheeran, clinical nurse specialist Grace Kelly and solicitor Caroline O’Boyle. A local carer will also give an account of her own personal journey.
Consultant psychiatrist for older people, Dr Tom McBride, will also be available as part of a questions and answer session.
The event will take place on May 20th, 2015 in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, from 6.30pm-9.30pm.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
