One of the highlights of the Irish summer, the 2014 Ballyshannon Agricultural Show takes place on Sunday 17th August, in Tunney’s Field, on the Main Ballyshannon to Donegal Town road.
Ballyshannon Agricultural Show will celebrate its 21st Annual event in 2014, and we want to encourage those who have attended in the past, either as a visitor or exhibitor, to comeback and help us enjoy this wonderful community agricultural show.
We would also invite those who have not attended this event before, to come along for a fantastic day as many wonderful animals will be on display at this event, including Irish Draught Horses, Connemara Ponies, All Breeds of Sheep, Pedigree and Commercial Cattle, which Donegal Breeders are well renowned for throughout Ireland. This year an expanded show will include exhibition catagories for many new breeds of cattle and sheep.
This year the show will include a Live Circus Show. Music on the day will be provided by Glor Tire Finalist Farrah Bogle.
The Show Dance will take place at 10.30pm in Dorrian’s Imperial Hotel. Music is by the Rockhill Ramblers.
Ballyshannon Agricultural Show is one of the largest of its kind to occur in Co. Donegal so please come along and support this community focused event.
