People taking part in the 2013 5k road race
For those wishing to take more exercise and live a healthier lifestyle, Ballyshannon Rugby Club’s “Streets of Ballyshannon” 5k Run/Walk, is an ideal vehicle. The 2014 event takes place this coming Saturday, January 25th.
The starting line is at the Abbey Centre and the finish line is at the Lakeside Centre on the Belleek Road.
Categories on the day include: Men 1st, 2nd and 3rd; Women 1st, 2nd and 3rd; Veterans 40, 45, 50 and 50+; First Junior Male u18; First Junior Female u18; Spot prizes for walkers.
Registration fee: adult €10, junior €10; family of 4 €20.
Registration on the day at the Lakeside Centre from 1pm. Pre-register by email to ballyshannon5k@gmail.com
Changing facilities will be available.
This 5km is a stepping stone for the Cara Bundoran 10 miles challenge.
