Congratulations go to long serving MED Committee member Jeremy Mc Gonigle and his wife Valerie on being awarded the 2014 RDS Champion of Champions award, which they received on Wednesday, 26th of February 2014, in RDS Merrion Room, Ballsbridge, Dublin.
They received a silver medal and a cheque for €1000.00.
Their winning heifer is sired by Cottage Devon from a CF46 dam, Whinfort Olivia.
The grand dam was Liscally Irish Girl, bred by Jon Regan, many years ago.
In a wonderful gesture of generosity Jeremy and Valerie donated their prize money to Cancer Research and Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
