Neill Boland From Castleconnor Wins Quality Silage Award

This year’s KW Forage sponsored Quality Silage Award has come to Sligo for the 2nd time in 4 years. Neill Boland from Castleconnor was announced as the national winner in the Irish Farm Centre, Bluebell, Dublin last Tuesday evening (12/11/2013) following an in-depth interview focused on the agri sector and his own farm enterprise. Neill and the other 5 finalists were chosen based on the excellent results of their silage samples taken in September. Macra Na Feirme facilitated the competition while KW Forage kindly sponsored it.
