Relay For Life Donegal will begin launching their 2015 campaign later this month. The official launch night will take place at the MountErrigal on Thursday, January 22 at 7.30pm, where people can find out more about Relay For Life Donegal and how to get involved in this year’s event.
Relay For Life will take place at the LYIT on from May 30-31 this year. Relay For Life is a community based initiative in support of the Irish Cancer Society and their work in patient support and research.
Relay is a 24-hour team fundraising event. The event is based around a walking track and at all times during the event at least one person from each team is walking on the track. Each team has a cancer awareness theme which they promote at their team base. As part of their fundraising efforts, the teams can also run fundraising events on the day if they wish.
