The launch of jonathanl351.sg-host.com was held in Great Northern Hotel Bundoran on Thursday 13th November 2003. The web site was formally launched by Paddy Harte, representing the IFI. The IFI funded the Community Leadership Programme, which initiated the website pilot project. The website training was funded through the FAS Community Development Support Programme.
jonathanl351.sg-host.com is the result of the training undertaken and the MED group are proud of their achievement in launching this community website. MED group hope that this website will become a communication mechanism for the farming and rural community in North Sligo, North Leitrim, South Donegal and South Fermanagh. The MED group hope that this can be a community notice board for the farming community to promote their services. The website will display items for sale, items/services wanted, and services available in the area and through this we will increase the opportunities for off farm employment in the region.
